1) Outsourcing Manager – 8 month contract (Pennsylvania) 942

DESCRIPTION:

  • Manage preparation of stand-alone contracts with internal contractors. Collect documents, compile work order and finalize the execution of the documents through contract signature.
  • During the budgetary exercise, support Clinical Program managers (CPM’s), Clinical Program Manager Global Head, and Global Heads of functional platforms in estimating the outsourcing budget using internal tools and metrics.
  • Develop expertise in current systems (e.g.,OPX2, SAP, NEXTS) and any new systems that may be require to support CPM responsibilities.
  • Manage the CPM database (structure, upgrade, data entry) and support CPM’s and Global CPM Head in providing reports to upper management.
  • Work in collaboration with staff from functional platforms to capture operational information.
  • Participate in review of contracts relating to Sanofi Pasteur’s pipeline, pending or existing change orders, outstanding invoices and payment issues.
  • Process and manage invoices from the various vendors. This includes data entry of invoices, verifying that the information on the invoice is accurate and has been approved by the authorized official and ensuring compliance with the approved budget.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong expertise with WORD, EXCEL, and Powerpoint
  • Experience with SAP and other ARIBA tools
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Bachelors degree in Life Science or related field of study or Purchasing
  • Post-college or graduate experience in an Outsourcing or Purchasing department in the pharmaceutical industry preferred
  • Budgetary and contract experience is preferred

2) Procurement Lead Buyer / Manager Projects – 8 month contract (New Jersey) 726

DESCRIPTION:

The Procurement Lead Buyer/ Manager projects is responsible for the management of project(s) and/or critical activities for his/her perimeter (NA Temporary Labor and Consulting Segments). He/She is responsible for the development and implementation of the Procurement policies and processes, developing deep collaborative and innovative relationship with his/her business partners. The Procurement Lead Buyer/ Manager projects administers all Procurement activities, including selecting sources of supply, approving purchase orders, managing relationships with suppliers and negotiating terms of contracts. He/She ensures the Procurement of company materials and supplies, services and investments at the best market conditions for his/her perimeter and is also responsible for evaluating alternative solutions suggested by new suppliers aimed at the improvement of Procurement. He/She can manage as well some specific project(s) and/or critical activities related to the Procurement function at regional/country/local levels. Implementation of a complex Procurement strategy at a country or NA level. Single point of contact for major NA/Country critical projects

The Purchasing Manager’s key sourcing strategy duties/responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Assist the Common Spend HR/Consulting Segment Head in defining the yearly action plan including, budget forecasting, mapping exercise, coverage and savings targets, strategies for sourcing and business integration
  • Develop clearly defined strategic orientations in relation to the supplier and technology market analysis
  • Assist the Common Spend HR/Consulting Segment Head in the action plan review/validation with the global category management team
  • Lead the efforts in finding new supplier and technology market opportunities within his/her perimeter
  • Lead supplier relationship management activities with strategic suppliers for his/her perimeter of spend
  • Develop strong partnerships with their main internal customers and business stakeholders
  • Build sourcing strategies and operational action plans for his/her Procurement segments
  • Develop reports, activity dashboards and relevant KPIs to monitor and manage his/her activities

The Purchasing Manager’s key management duties/responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • Ensure that all needs and key projects are identified and challenged for his/her perimeter of responsibilities
  • Manage all operational and functional activities related to his/her spend perimeter and/or assigned project(s)
  • Propose improvement plans which are aligned with the Supplier Diversity & Sustainability goals
  • Develop the strategies for the management of team(s) and/or project(s) and/or critical purchasing activities
  • Manage and optimize when required/relevant the human resources to fulfill the teams target
  • Lead and conduct RFP process with ad-hoc procurement and internal customer support
  • Identify and leverage the level of expertise and maturity of his/her network by facilitating exchange of information

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • This position requires 7 – 15 years purchasing experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university

3) Accounts Receivable Collection Professional – 6 month contract (New Jersey) 199

DESCRIPTION:

  • Provides invoice and deduction collection support for a specific portfolio of US trade, direct (hospital, clinic, physician) international and contract manufacturing customers in accordance with department guidelines.
  • Functions include: contacting customers for invoice and deduction payment status, unused credit memo status, updating customer records, following up on special requests, e.g. document copies, proof of delivery, monthly invoice and deduction collection status reporting, customer account statement preparation.
  • Works in collaboration with the following areas: internal – Accounts Receivable, Credit, Contract Manufacturing, Trade Customer Support; external – customer contacts at the professional, supervisory and manager level in account payable, vendor relations and finance.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Functional expertise in accounts receivable collection
  • Payment deduction research/resolution and prevention experience.
  • Proactively identifies issues or concerns and recommends effective solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as a team member.
  • High degree of independent problem solving.
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school in Accounting or Business.

4) Finance – Project Portfolio Management Assistant – 3 month contract (New Jersey) 953

DESCRIPTION:

  • Operationalize certain aspects of the project portfolio
  • Assist with the management of reports on resource capacity
  • Integrate project portfolio with IS project portfolio
  • Assist team members with the development of work plans
  • Follow up with project teams and provide routine project status updates
  • Ownership for maintenance and review of resource tracking
  • Assist in management of project issues
  • Assist in the identification and management of project risks
  • Assist in the identification of integration points between projects and offer advice to harmonize efforts where applicable
  • Assist in driving quality control for individual project deliverables
  • Perform initial quality review of project resource requests as required
  • Assist with Shared Services Project Management
  • Assist with project launch training logistics

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent understanding of portfolio/project management – PMP certified desired
  • Must have experience working on large systems implementations and working in larger cross functional team environment. Procure to pay subject matter expertise is a plus
  • An understanding of Project Management and is able to identify impacts and interdependencies
  • Previous experience with project and resources tracking tools a plus
  • Ability to work with project teams, team members with indirect reporting relationships, and external resources toward successful outcomes and attainment of business objectives
  • Establishes priorities and timelines to effectively manage workload of self and others, able to multi-task well
  • Ability to be work efficiently with little supervision, deliver high level of customer service and proven track record of following through with assignments meeting strict deadlines
  • Provides timely guidance and feedback to help others excel on the job and meet key responsibilities
  • Skilled at working effectively and professionally with all entities of North America as well as Global
  • Solves and works independently and with team to solve complex problems
  • Must possess analytical skills; attention to detail, diligently follow up on many items that are simultaneously in various stages of completion
